OK OK OK enough is enough.

Ok, I have had it...
After spending the last month learning, educating myself, and reading endless "Informative" email after email, I finally found the truth. Everyone wants mine and your money. They talk out of both sides of their mouths, and their motivation is with a forked tongue.

I have listened to person after person say: "In this current economic crisis, we need one another..." Well, that is very true. We do need one another... TO BE HONEST!

I have watched millionaire after millionaire, or just the wealthy, pull people into calls, webinars, and such, only to have the back end to say : "For $500 you can sell our product, and make money."
What happened to being there for one another? If the economy is SO BAD how am I supposed to shell out $500 for some program, just to resell it?

If I had a product (And very soon I will.) I will have an open affiliate program. WHY? Cause everyone deserves an equal chance to MAKE MONEY. Not just a tight knit group of people, who sell the same thing to one another. Why do you have to convince me, that your product is so GREAT its worth $500? After that, its like this.

I paid $500 or whatever the price is, for your product and now I have to lure others into our circle and sell them the same thing, and that's how I make money. That is PYRAMID marketing, and died with the ON FOOT excel program I was in years ago. Remember Amway, Avon, etc...

I write this with total passion, and disappointment and disgust. Allow me to elaborate some more.

These people in a "network" tell me, use twitter, blog, network with people, do this, do that, don't buy leads. Only to turn around, and tell me, thats wrong and stupid and that I am just following the herd. OK... Did you not just tell me to do these things last month? Or did I just dream about social marketing and networking?

So which is it "GURUS"? Do we listen to you, or do we learn on our own through our own education, experiences, failures and successes?

Ok, (Shaking off the filth and lies)... This is what I have been doing. NOT BUYING INTO ANYTHING that cost over $20. Why? Well, the only service I know that cost $500 is to have my car tuned up, a plumber if a pipe bust, or minor surgery.

I also listen to what EVERYONE is saying, and take it ALL in... I mean every bit of it, if its junk or not. So the next time I see junk, I throw it away as junk should be.

Here are my suggestions:
1.) Research the program you are buying into, or registering free for.
2.) BE HONEST with everyone, hype marketing is effective, but be honest about it. We all need motivation.
3.) READ READ READ LEARN LEARN LEARN. You can never know too much.
4.) Be yourself, you are selling yourself here people. No one is going to buy into a program thats profitable and free, if your not yourself. Personally, lately, everyone is doing this "How can I help you..." routine, and once I balk at their offer, they disappear.

Now that I am done, start looking at the emails you are getting, who are they from? Allot of "gurus" promote multiple items, and are telling everyone something different. I am not speaking about ALL gurus, there are good people out there. But as in any business, once the public wakes up, and learns, they take over and a revolution begins. Time for old money to leave, and new money to come in. SEE YA SHARKS...

Thanks for reading guys. Hope you found my tirade entertaining, and informational.

  1. Hi Ron:
I liked what you had to say, for a simple reason.. many people are now coming forward saying pretty much the same thing.

I know for myself, when I first came online it was in the mindset of..oh I am going to make money, it is simple and I will follow what others are doing...Big Mistake!

What I found out the hard way was .. I had fallen into the "internet marketing mind set" I was program hopping I would join what every one else did , but its funny in the back of my mind, I kept going...hmmm something not right here and I basically stopped and just started to watch people ..what they said..what they did..oh my...talk about a bunch of clones?

My suggestion for everyone is first to determine, "What do I want to be when I grow up to be an Internet Marketer?"
Where are your primary interests, what do you like doing, and what are your skill sets?
Knowing some of these things will help you to set out on the path to learn the things you'll need to know to become what you want to
    become.

Again, for myself, I realized that my strengths lie elsewhere. I am a fantastic admin ( LOL ask my boss) I love teaching, especially blogging, I truly enjoy researching and lastly i am a so so marketer in the traditional sense.

Because I know my strengths and also my weaknesses, I have been studying what I need and so much want to learn

I am a happier person as a result and when I talk to people, I come from a position of knowledge and I would like to think credibility...does that make sense?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts...you are on the right track...have fun in what you are doing and don't come from a position of being disparate to being one of the clones.

    Best Regards,

I know that people are going to start waking up, and thinking for themselves. We all need a push, motivated, and information. Its what we do with that information that is important.

So to those of you reading these replies, get the education you need, and run with it. be creative. You are an individual.
